bothered to update this website; i've gotten back into reading, and have bought wuthering heights (e. bronte), animal farm (g. orwell), and 1984 (g. orwell) because why be illiterate? also finished diary of anne frank, which i would recommend to anyone; bibliophile or not; to read. my headspace and overall mental health has been *much* better, i've been out of school, and surrounding myself with amazing people xx.

leaving for finland very soon, im so freaking excited i might scream. unfortunately i will have a seventeen hour layover coming back... it's been so hot here, so helsinki being in the 20s (celsius, you americans!!) will be a godsend for me to wear baggy jeans and multiple layers again.
will also be visiting a friend of 10+ years, and really try to immerse myself in my mother-country, as i am a dual-citizen (finn-american woohoo!!!), and getting a finnish passport. i'm very nervous to test my fluency (or lack thereof) skills, but failing is the first step to suceeding i suppose. my vinyl collection is also growing; with some frank sinatra, beatles, etc, etc.
unrelated note, a person i have been romantically interested in feels the same, so you can say i have been much happier for that reason too.

it's been so long since i've been on neocities. i honestly don't have the motivation to do this currently. as for a personal update; i've been continuing with my finnish lessons, increased my vinyl collection, and my obsession with the sixties and history has never wavered. summer has been SO hot (at times 100-105F and feels like 110-115.) visited family, re-learned why we don't as much as we should.

had a LOT of homework, sprained my ankle this morning, its a minial inversion one, but is annoying.

felt like staying home, playing my vinyls, and styling my hair--so i did :). the weather is so hot here. i miss winter already. my website has definetly imporved in the last few days.

school has been kicking my butt lately, i started writing a story with some ideas that have been floating around in my head for a while, i feel like i've generally been writing a lot more lately. my finnish has been improving this year, uusikielemme.fi has been an actual life saver.

was sick for a few days, spent most of it coding + watch s4-7 of gilmore girls. i already miss winter but i've started planned a trip this summer :), mina puhun vahan suomea!!! vahan, mutta jotkut.
